When I was a little girl I was given a box of beautiful glass beads and ever since I have had a fascination with designing and making jewellery.
Throughout my life I have played around with different techniques and designs.
Between the ages of 13 and 16 I had a wonderful teacher, Sally Gwynn at The Small School in Hartland, N Devon. She taught me intricate beadwork, for which I won a Gold award from Poughill Guild for the children's challenge cup.
I have experimented with resin in a jewellery workshop with Emma Caton and a resin workshop at Paper village on North Street, Bristol.
My first experience with Silver was at the Orchard Workshop in Kingswood, Bristol. From there I proceeded to do Silver Jewellery at the R.W.A in Clifton, Bristol.
The sad loss of a close friend Nirjana ( Pike Jewellery) has been my greatest inspiration. We studied at the RWA in Bristol together. She went on to set up Pike Jewellery.
She gifted her entire jewellery/tool collection to me. When I work I use some of her pieces mixed with mine. The Sea love collection is dedicated to her.
May my Jewellery bring you beauty and love.
